A Little About Me
Branded Mugs
Brand Promotion
Do you want to promote your brand on a handmade mug? You have customers who already love supporting handmade and shopping local with you! Adding your logo to a Penny Lane Pottery handcrafted mug will speak directly to your customers and they might just love you even more. With your brand logo and my mug design, we will create a great marketing product for your brand - together.
The Stamps
To begin your branded handmade mug adventure, we are going to need a stamp. I use the stamp to impress your logo onto a small round or square patch of clay. The best way to get a clean image of your logo is with 3-D printing. You can either supply me with an existing stamp you've made, or I can source the stamp using your logo. You can use the Custom Branded Mug form to provide me with more details about your brand and the stamp.
Your Branded Mug
I work closely with clients who are interested in handmade branded mugs. I provide options for the type of clay (red, white or speckled), patch shape and size (round, square or rectangular like Saskatchewan!), and glaze colours. Choosing these options for your mug can be fun and I often provide a prototype mug so you can see and feel what the finished product will be.
Pottery Classes
Have you always wanted to take a pottery class? If this has been on your bucket list, now is the time to cross it off! I have been teaching pottery classes at the Arts Centre in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan for over 10 years. Teaching people how to make pottery is one of my favourite things. I love teaching students to centre clay on the potter’s wheel for the first time. I also love the feeling of “losing” three hours during a class because everyone is so focused on their projects. It’s so great to catch the look on a student’s face when they see their finished piece and they are so proud. If you want to be creative, get your hands dirty, and make some functional pottery you can use at home, then sign up for a class today.
Sales & Shows
Biggar Fibre Fair
The Biggar Fibre Fair was started as a fundraiser for the local library in Biggar, Saskatchewan. This is a great fair to attend if you love all things fibre: knitting, crocheting, spinning yarn, raising yarn-producing animals, making items that support all things fibre.
Sundog Arts & Entertainment Faire
Sundog is Saskatchewan’s largest arts and entertainment faire. This event has fantastic artisans, a gourmet food market, local music entertainment and it’s the best place for Christmas gift shopping in early December!
Evergreen Artisan Market
Evergreen is hosted by the Prince Albert Council for the arts and the venue is the E.A. Rawlinson Centre and the Mann Art Gallery. This artisan market attracts over 40 vendors, local music talent, and food booths for a great snack or a meal while you shop.

On the Avenue Artisan Gallery
On the Avenue - Artisan's Gallery is a space for local Prince Albert and area artists and artisans to showcase their talent. This gallery is located on Central Ave in downtown Prince Albert, SK, and is a great place to shop for local, handmade gifts and art. You can find all kinds of Penny Lane Pottery here.
The Bison Cafe
The Bison Cafe is a local downtown coffee shop that also features local artists. I stock mostly mugs at the Bison Cafe because mugs and coffee or tea just go together. It’s also a great place to get a fantastic coffee and a gift for a friend. Meet you there for coffee.
Northern Lights Gallery
The Northern Lights Gallery is located in Melfort, SK on Main St. The gallery offers local, national, and international artwork, wood carving, pottery, and more. A wide selection of handcrafted, unique pieces to suit any budget. I sell a lot of mugs and red wine cups in Melfort and I’m very lucky for their support.
